THE STORY:

(Columbia, MD) – Howard Community College’s (HCC) Arts Collective (AC) proudly presents Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” adapted by Doris Baizley from December 6 to 16, in HCC's Smith Theatre. Jenny Male, coordinator of musical theatre at HCC, directs and choreographs this family-friendly, magical, holiday classic a second time for AC (the first production, mounted in 2004, was met by sold-out houses – and exactly why AC is beyond proud to re-mount it during its 18th Season)!  class="contentsmall"Baizley's fantastical and whimsical adaptation of A Christmas Carol places a unique theatrical spin on Dickens' timeless classic by telling the story through the eyes of an acting troupe full of clowns, lovers, masked revelers, and acrobats.  This 90-minute show unfolds into a fast-paced, tumbling ferris wheel of magic, music, movement, and light... a fabulous, joyous holiday journey for the entire family!
